Mr. John Rahael first entered Parliament as a Government Senator in 1992 in the 4th Republican Parliament. He subsequently contested and won, in 2000, the Port-of-Spain North/St. Ann's West constituency. During the period 2001 to 2007, Mr. Rahael served as Minister of Agriculture, Land and Marine Resources and Minister of Health.
