Mr. Gideon Hanoomansingh served in the House of Representatives in Opposition from June 1994 to October 1995 as the member for Pointe-a-Pierre, having won a by-election following the death of Mr. Cyril Rajaram in April of 1994.
Mr. Hanoomansingh worked for many years in the media as an announcer/presenter, and still works in this capacity on Heritage Radio in Trinidad.
