Dr. Nyan Elizabeth Gadsby-Dolly first entered Parliament as the representative for St. Ann’s East in the 11th Republican Parliament, following the General Election of September 7, 2015. She was appointed Minister of Community Development, Culture and the Arts on September 11, 2015.
Dr. Gadsby Dolly was re-elected in August 2020 as a Member of the 12th Republican Parliament, at which time she was appointed Minister of Education.
