The Opening of the 21st Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth took place on Monday 9th January, 2012 at 9:00am, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
During the ceremony, speeches were made by the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and the Speaker of the House.
