INVITATION FOR WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS
A Joint Select Committee of Parliament has been established to consider and report on the Insurance (No.2) Bill, 2013. The Bill seeks, inter alia, to:
- provide a new regulatory framework for the insurance industry
- continue to provide for the regulation of privately administered pension fund plans
- repeal the existing Insurance Act, Chap. 84:01.
As part of the process of deliberation on this piece of legislation, the Committee is inviting all stakeholders and interested persons to submit written comments /suggestions on the nsurance Bill, 2013.
Persons interested in appearing before the Committee to give oral evidence may also ndicate such in their correspondence.
Written comments will be received in either hard copy or electronic format, and
