We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing early this morning of former President and Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Arthur Napoleon Raymond Robinson.
Arthur Napoleon Raymond Robinson, SC, OCC, TC was the third President of Trinidad and Tobago, serving from 19 March 1997 to 17 March 2003.
He served as Prime Minister from 1986 – 1991
He attended St John’s College, Oxford, and University of London; University of Oxford and written books which includes The mechanics of Independence.
Robinson was born on December 16, 1926 in Tobago and passed on April 9, 2014 at the age of 88 and was also married to Patricia Robinson.
