Former Prime Minister Patrick Manning passed away on Saturday 2nd July at the age of 69. Mr. Manning was the country’s longest serving Parliamentarian, having first been elected to the San Fernando East seat in 1971. He represented the constituency for 44 consecutive years until his retirement from active politics in 2015.
A book of condolence has been opened for former Prime Minister Patrick Manning at the Parliament’s south lobby (waterfront entrance), Tower D, International Waterfront Centre, 1A Wrightson Road, Port of Spain. Members of the public are invited to sign the condolence book from Monday July 4th to Friday July 8th, from 8:00am – 6:00pm.
