The Joint Select Committee established for the Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority Bill, 2018 is calling for comments on the Bill.
The purpose of the Bill is to provide for the establishment of the Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority (TTRA) to replace the Board of Inland Revenue and the Customs and Excise Division.
The proposed Revenue Authority will have the responsibility of assessing, collecting and administering government revenue and the enforcement of revenue laws.
The Committee is inviting members of the public to submit comments on the Bill, which can be sourced on the Parliament's website.
THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS WEDNESDAY JUNE 20 JULY 4, 2018 AT 4:00 P.M.
