The Senate will meet on Wednesday October 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. to continue debate on the Budget for fiscal 2015.
When the Senate met on Tuesday September 30, 2014 the Minister of Finance and the Economy moved the second reading of the Appropriation (Financial Year – 2015) Bill, 2014, which was passed in the House of Representatives on Friday September 26, 2014 after five days of debate and four days of Standing Finance Committee.
The Senate is expected to debate the Bill over the course of the coming week.
