The Joint Select Committee established for the Constitution (Amendment) (Tobago Self-Government) Bill, 2018 is calling for comments on the Bill.
The purpose of the Bill is to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to accord self-government to Tobago, to repeal the Tobago House of Assembly Act.
The Committee is inviting members of the public to submit comments on the Bill which includes proposed amendments and is available on the Parliament's Website.
THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS FRIDAY APRIL 27, 2018.
