Call for Submissions – Public Administration and Appropriations Committee – Pensions & Gratuity to Public and Contracted Officers

The above-named Committee has commenced an inquiry into the ‘Processing of Payment of Pensions and Gratuity to Public and Contracted Officers’.

The objectives of this inquiry are to:

  • Examine the processing of the payment of pension and gratuity to public and contracted officers to determine whether:
    1. the payment of pensions and gratuity to public and contracted officers is adequately administered;
    2. there is efficient and effective monitoring of the payment of pensions and gratuity to public and contracted officers;
    3. any hindrances exist in the payment of pensions and gratuity to public and contracted officers;
    4. improvements can be made pertaining to the quantification of payment of pensions and gratuity to public and contracted officers; and
    5. there are recommendations for improving the payment of pensions and gratuity to public and contracted officers.

 

The Committee is therefore inviting stakeholders and interested persons to submit written comments, suggestions and recommendations on this matter.

Members of the public are reminded that submissions should observe the principles of relevance, clarity, conciseness and accuracy (Guidelines for written submissions).

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS WEDNESDAY APRIL 4 APRIL 11, 2018.
