On Friday August 23, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. the Ceremonial Opening of the 4th Session of the 10th Parliament of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago took place at Tower D, Port-of-Spain International Waterfront Centre.
His Excellency Anthony Thomas Aquinas Carmona, O.R.T.T, S.C., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, addressed the members of both Houses assembled together. This was the first occasion on which the nation's fifth President had the opportunity to do so.
The proceedings were televised live on the Parliament Channel and Parliament Radio 105.5 FM
