A delegation from the People’s Republic of China led by His Excellency Chen Changzhi, Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, is currently in Trinidad and Tobago on an official visit to this country.
The members of the delegation, who arrived in this country early this morning (Wednesday January 20, 2016) have already paid courtesy calls on the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House and the Leader of the Opposition.
On Thursday January 21, 2016, His Excellency Chen Changzhi will visit Tobago, where he is expected to pay a courtesy call on the Honourable Orville London, Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly.
