The Joint Select Committee established to inquire into and report to Parliament on Ministries (Group 1), and on the Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises falling under their purview has commenced an inquiry into the administration and operations of the National Carnival Commission (NCC) and related matters for the period 2010/2011.
The Committee will be considering such matters as:
- NCC’s relationship with stakeholders in Carnival
- NCC’s responsibilities
- NCC’s funding
- The erection of the Grand Stand and North Stand

- Procurement procedures
- Reporting relationship with the Ministry of Public Utilities
