Dr. Lenny Saith was appointed Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister in the 9th Parliament in November of 2007. In the 8th Parliament, Dr. Saith held the portfolio of Minister of Public Administration and Information, and later was given the additional portfolio of Minister of Energy and Energy Industries. Dr. Saith first entered Parliament in January of 1992, when he held the portfolio of Minister of Planning and Development and Leader of Government Business in the Senate during the 4th Republican Parliament.
Dr. Saith is an engineer by profession.
