The Office of the Parliament will be engaging in several outreach activities to promote the Parliament during the sessional break.
The main events will be
- Chamber Open House tours during the week of July 17 – 21: The Chamber Open House was introduced last year to mark the Parliament Channel’s 10th Anniversary. Over 1,000 persons who would not normally come to the Parliament visited the Chamber that week to learn about its history and importance to our democratic process.
- A Waterfront Outreach: There will be tents with booths where information on the Parliament will be shared and mini-quizzes and interviews will be conducted, on the Waterfront.
