The Second Session of the 9th Republican Parliament is to be prorogued at midnight of Friday January 8, 2010. The Third Session of the 9th Republican Parliament will open on Wednesday January 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. This will be a ceremonial opening of Parliament, meaning that His Excellency the President will address both Houses of Parliament assembled together.
The opening of Parliament will be carried live on the Parliament Channel 11, on Parliament Radio 105.5 FM and on the web via the Parliament website.
