Scriptwriter/ Producer
The Scriptwriter/Producer will work under the supervision of the Production Coordinator to conceptualize, develop, write and produce programmes related to the Parliamentary tradition for the Parliament Channel.
Key Responsibilities
Develops the technical skills of writing and maintaining originality to reflect the content of issues addressed in Parliament; develops programmes which are engaging, informative and topical; performs voice-over duties for television productions and live programmes.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communication, English or any other related field from an accredited college or university; five (5) years’ experience in journalism or communications with practical experience in news, current affairs, television production, script writing; experience with electronic publishing, graphics and video production.
Senior Broadcast Technician
The Senior Broadcast Technician supervises the work of the Broadcast Technicians by providing guidance and direction to ensure that all productions are of the highest possible quality, and ensures that the radio and television broadcasts, productions and programming objectives are achieved as supervisor and operator.
Key Responsibilities:
Effectively supervises the work of all Broadcast Technicians by providing guidance and direction to facilitate the proper functioning of all television and radio equipment systems and the attainment of objectives; proficient at operating at any/all Broadcast Technician posts on television and radio broadcasts & productions, if necessary; provides first-line operational support, including on-the-spot diagnosis and rectification of minor faults of all AV equipment including cameras, recording devices etc., as and when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Five (5) CXC or GCE "O" Level General Passes, inclusive of English Language; at least two (2) years’ study at the Associate Degree Level or Higher Diploma in Media, Broadcast Technology, Television and Radio Production or equivalent from a recognized, accredited institution; at least seven (7) years' experience in all aspects of broadcast operations.
Legal Research Officer
Job Summary
The incumbent will be required to perform work involving the conduct of research related to law and legal issues
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor of Law Degree from a recognised University; Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in legal research
