“Youth Connect” aims to build awareness and foster civic duty among young citizens in particular.
Edgy and interactive, the television series is centered on students who ask relevant questions about the Parliament and its functions to the Presiding Officers, Senator the Honourable Timothy Hamel Smith, President of the Senate, and the Honourable Wade Mark, Speaker of the House.
Youth Connect is currently showing on the Parliament Channel (Cable channel 11) and features 4th form students from St George’s College, El Dorado East Secondary, Tunapuna Government Secondary and Five Rivers Government Secondary Schools.
